Waiting

You have closed the door,
I won't look in,
I won't knock,
I won't call,
I won't cry.
I am going to be
dead for a while.
I will sit here
unseeing
unfeeling
on your doorstep.
I will wait
for you
to come and
open the door.

ma'am! like i said earlier... absolutely love it.

i love the form, how the lines end abruptly and are short. almost forces the reader into paying attention to the content and not getting lost in the flow or the rythm... it's a beautifully crafted poem... and i'm completely in love with it... ican also relate to it in a way :)

Thank you dear Blow for introducing me to blogging. This poem is from my novel 'Idol Love'. I'll post some more from there.
